Best Utah Wedding Music
— My story

A passionate set of musicians

I started String Love nearly a decade ago to fill a hole in Utah’s music scene, and I was on to something…

I started String Love to fix a problem. String quartets in Utah were boring, they all played the same tired repertoire, the same music they’d been playing for decades. It was stale, it was sleepy, it was ready for a change. What I didn’t realize was just how much pent up demand there was for something new and fresh and exciting.

I should have known, now we have classical crossover megastars like Lindsay Stirling, The Piano Guys, Two Cellos, and Simply Three. Classical crossover was in the air, it was bubbling up all around, and it took off like wildfire.

This has led us to some amazing gigs with a huge variety of players – for a while we were the busiest string quartet in Utah, sometimes playing two or three events in a day. We’ve played at the top of Snowbird, we’ve played for fireworks shows on New Year’s Eve, we’ve played for weddings, city festivals, corporate luncheons, galas, in the stifling heat and in the freezing cold. We’ve played in Park City, Deer Valley, Ogden, Salt Lake, Provo, Moab, and everywhere in between. We’ve played as solo, duo, trio, quartet, quintet, with singers, harpists, pianists, guitarists, drummers, bassists, and even dancers.

Whatever your event, we’d love to be a part of it.
