Can String Love learn new songs?

Yes! In fact we include that in our pricing, if you’ve got a song you want us to play that isn’t on our list we’ll find it, buy it, or build it from scratch for you. And if you’ve got multiple songs that aren’t on our list we can add additional songs for a small fee.

What should I choose for my processional?

Processional songs are best when they are medium or slow tempo and romantic sounding. Most brides choose one processional song for everyone else and a separate song for themselves. Favorite classical options include Pachelbel’s Canon or Wagner’s Bridal March. More modern favorites include Elvis’ Can’t Help Falling In Love With You or Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years.

What about our recessional?

Recessionals are best when they’re up tempo, happy, and celebratory. The classical favorite is Mendellsohn’s Wedding March and more modern examples include The Beatles’ All You Need Is Love and Ray LaMontagne’s You Are The Best Thing.

What if our ceremony is outdoors?

That’s great! We just require shade and protection from the elements. String instruments are very sensitive to sunlight and moisture and hot and cold temperatures. And of course so are our players. 😉

What is required to book you?

We have a short contract to sign and we take a 50% deposit and that’s it, super easy!

Do you travel?

Yes, our standard fee is good for Salt Lake, Park City, Provo, and Ogden. We are happy to travel beyond that for a small additional fee. Just send us the details and we’ll give an appropriate quote.

Why do you book through Utah Live Bands?

Because Utah Live Bands takes very good care of us and you! You’re welcome to work through us or through them, the price and the contract is the same.

Can you provide sound equipment?

Absolutely, though it’s not usually necessary. We have high end sound equipment that will make us sound amazing and make sure all your guests can hear us. If you feel like you need us to provide sound equipment let us know and we’ll include that in our quote.

Do you have other bands or DJs you love working with?

We have worked with so many amazing bands over the years! Some of our favorites include Take 3 jazz trio, The SugaTones Motown Band, Mimi Valentine and the Gentleman’s Club, and pretty much anything on either On Site Music or Utah Live Band’s roster.
